Children & Teen Privacy

Under 13 — not permitted

CluckCoach is for ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it. If a parent believes their under-13 child used the Service, contact privacy@cluckcoach.app and we will remove the data. A neutral age gate is used at sign-up, and a later change to a birthdate indicating an under-13 user triggers removal.

Teens (13–17) — teen-safe by default

Teen accounts default to the most protective settings: no behavioral profiling, no targeted advertising, no precise geolocation, and no late-night notifications. We design for the best interests of the young person.

Importantly, for users under 18 we do not offer weight-loss goals or calorie deficits, we demote body-weight and calorie metrics, and the AI coach will not recommend restriction, weigh-ins, body-fat measurement, or rapid weight loss. The app includes a brief eating-concern screen and surfaces crisis resources when warranted.

Minors' data is minimized and protected

We collect only what is needed, keep minors' activity data for a limited time with automated purge, and do not use minors' data to train or fine-tune AI models, nor share it with third-party advertising or analytics. A parent or guardian may review or request deletion of their teen's data by contacting privacy@cluckcoach.app.

Parents & guardians

We encourage parents to be involved. You can request access to, or deletion of, your child's information, and withdraw permission for further collection, at privacy@cluckcoach.app.
